Philip was recently ordained a deacon, having been an LLM since 2019. He grew up in Scotland, trained as a chartered accountant in London and came to Hampshire from Glasgow to take up the role of Head of Tax at a life assurance company in Basingstoke in 2002. He retired in 2024 after a number of different roles and in his spare time he now enjoys reading, walking (with the family dog), playing golf and eating good food.
